Telling the true story of the fight for distribution rights to a video game doesn’t sound like it would be this interesting, or this entertaining. Considering Tetris was invented within Soviet Russia though, it’s easy to see where the intrigue comes in.
If I have one critique of this movie it’s that it can throw a lot of information at you really fast. It almost feels like there’s an entire other movie that happened before this one because there’s so much exposition dump at the beginning of the movie. It doesn’t go quite that speed for the rest of the movie, but the whole thing runs pretty fast. That keeps it entertaining though, and fun regardless of if you’re a gamer.
